Syria’s internal security forces announced Sunday that they arrested two people in the east of the country who belong to ISIS. According to the announcement, the two are accused of carrying out assassinations, the most recent of which targeted a member of the Ministry of Defense. A statement said the General Intelligence apparatus took part in the operation alongside the internal security forces. The title of the report described the announcement as the dismantling of an ISIS cell that carried out assassinations.
