The Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco recently hosted a symposium as part of its series on Amazigh culture and heritage. The event was titled “The Stakes of Consolidating and Disseminating the Amazigh Language and Culture.” The article describes the title as apt because it captures the stage the Amazigh language has reached in Morocco. It says the question is no longer recognition, but how to consolidate what has been achieved and how to disseminate Amazigh so that it reaches everyone.
