The University of Medical Sciences in the Cuban city of Cienfuegos will host an international congress in December. The event is called the International Congress of History, Health, Woman and Migration, and it runs on the 15th and 16th of the month. Its stated range covers those subjects from antiquity right up to the present day, linking historical study with matters of health care, women, and human movement across borders. Holding it at a medical university gives the program an academic and health-sciences setting in Cienfuegos. Two days of sessions are planned under those combined themes.
