About 150 farmers from the Kampung Ujung Bukit group in Bintong are asking the government to increase the floor price of paddy. They want the price raised from 1,500 RM to 1,800 RM per ton. This request aims to help the farmers reduce their debts.
KANGAR: Seramai 150 pesawah dari Kelompok Kampung Ujung Bukit, Pertubuhan Peladang Kawasan (PPK) Bintong di sini, merayu kerajaan menyemak semula harga lantai belian padi daripada RM1,500 kepada RM1,800 satu tan bagi meringankan beban hutang mereka.
