National Police Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto issued Circular Letter Number SE/9/X/2026. This directive prohibits the use of electronic cigarettes, known as vapes, within the police environment. The Chief stated the ban applies everywhere. This policy has been in effect since October 30, 2026.
