Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran continues indirect talks with the United States aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz within two days. He stated that Iran is doing everything possible to move forward through this channel. Araghchi also expressed hope that the other side will act rationally. He asked the United States to give priority to diplomacy rather than alternative options. The comments were made while both parties seek to reduce tensions in the strategic waterway.
