Former US President Dwight D. Eisenhower once said that the size of the fight in the dog matters more than the size of the dog in the fight. He delivered this line during a speech to the Republican National Committee in January 1958. Eisenhower previously served as the supreme commander of allied forces in Europe. He played a central role in the planning of D-Day.
