New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani spoke about his childhood in a multicultural environment during a ceremony for Eastern European cultural heritage. He recalled a friend from Montenegro and his grandmother. As a boy, Mamdani would say a specific greeting to the grandmother. He admitted he had no idea what the words actually meant at the time.
Gradonačelnik Njujorka Zohran Mamdani prisetio se, tokom svečanosti posvećene istočnoevropskom kulturnom nasleđu, svog odrastanja u multikulturalnom okruženju i prijatelja poreklom iz Crne Gore, čijoj je baki kao dečak govorio: "Dobro, kako si?", iako, kako je priznao, nije znao šta te reči uopšte znače.
