Hackers attacked cooling systems in dozens of supermarkets and stores across Europe. The attacks caused temperatures in refrigerators and freezers to rise sharply. Large quantities of food had to be thrown away as a result. These incidents occurred during the night between Sunday and Monday. Affected countries include Belgium, Sweden, Luxembourg, Ireland, Estonia, and the Netherlands. Authorities are also investigating similar problems in Finland.
