Riga Municipal Police, together with the State Police and the State Security Service (VDD), identified a young man who twice climbed onto the cables of the Cable-Stayed Bridge in October and attached foreign flags to them. Municipal police communications specialist Erika Verze said the identity was established in the case. The report to LETA indicates that both foreign flags on the bridge were hung by the teenager.
