The Central Bank of Sudan’s governor, Amna Mirghani Hassan Al-Tom, held a broad meeting with the minerals minister, relevant agencies and representatives of gold export companies. They discussed the challenges facing the gold export sector and imbalances in the delivery of export proceeds. The meeting covered developing flexible and fair pricing mechanisms in line with global prices and reviewing restrictions on transfers of export proceeds.
