Windhoek awards N$18m tender for alarm system
Windhoek's municipality has confirmed an N$18 million contract for its new alarm system. City spokesperson Lydia Amutenya said on Friday that the tender covers installation and maintenance over five years. The Namibian had reported that buildings in the capital will be required to connect to the municipality's emergency control room. Once running, the receiver system is meant to channel alarm signals straight to city monitors.
