Klachten over te hoge bustarieven
Parliamentarian Hakiem Lalmahomed is calling for action against bus drivers who charge more than the official fare. Reports indicate that on routes around Lelydorp, Bersaba, Onverwacht, and Zanderij, passengers are charged 25 SRD instead of 18 SRD. The parliamentarian claims those who refuse to pay the higher fee are denied transport. He is requesting the Ministry of Transport, Communication, and Tourism to conduct inspections.
