A leading player from New Zealand’s Black Caps has been ruled out of the opening One‑Day International against India. The injury occurred during a training session when the player collided with a teammate. The match is part of a five‑game series scheduled to begin on Wednesday. All five ODIs will be played at Eden Park in Auckland. The team will have to adjust its lineup for the first fixture without the sidelined star.
