Nepal Insurance Authority has directed life and micro-life insurance companies to make insurance services and claim payments easier for policyholders affected by the Bhadra 10 floods. It issued an eight-point circular covering people who died or went missing in the floods, among others. The measure also provides an additional six months for installment payment deadlines and life insurance claim payments, according to the report.
