Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia will start design work for the Trump Route project. This work includes railway, highway, and power transmission lines to prevent delays. Armenia plans to transfer the completed designs to the TRIPP development company once it is formed. Meanwhile, Reporters Without Borders included Georgia's Bidzina Ivanishvili and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on its 2026 list of press freedom predators.
