Authorities detained 46 people for violating the state border of Azerbaijan during October. This group included 26 Afghan nationals and six citizens of Azerbaijan. Five Pakistanis and two Turkish nationals were also among those held. The detentions included two people from Morocco and two from Algeria. Two Palestinians and one Iranian citizen were also detained.
