A boy who hid 37 bags of crack cocaine from gardaí and then vomited them up has not been given a bed in a special care unit. The report also describes the case of a 14-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted by several men and has likewise yet to be assigned a bed. In both instances the children remain without the placements that were sought for them.
