Full story
Participants in the “Unity of Generations: Route of Memory” visited Krasny Bereg. At a memorial rally, they were told that during World War II a collection and transit point for children was set up there. Children were forcibly taken from their mothers and gathered at the point, where they underwent medical examinations and had blood taken to treat wounded German soldiers and officers. They were also sent to Germany as labor.
