The trial of İnci Çalışkan has begun after the suspect stabbed and killed her aunt, Binnaz Eriş. The suspect reportedly poured cologne on the body and set it on fire. Serkan Eriş, the son of the victim, described the suspect as his aunt's daughter who frequently visited the house. He stated that he does not know what happened inside the home. He requested the heaviest possible punishment on behalf of his family.
Tekirdağ'da teyzesi Binnaz Eriş'i bıçaklayıp öldürdükten sonra cesedine kolonya dökerek ateşe veren İnci Çalışkan'ın yargılanmasına başlandı. Kan donduran olayda Binnaz Eriş’in oğlu Serkan Eriş, "İnci Çalışkan benim teyzemin kızı, sürekli annemin evine girip çıkan birisiydi. İnci'nin, annemin evinde ne olup ne olmadığını bilip bilmediğini bilmiyorum. Bizim bu ailecek yaşadığımız bu olayı Allah kimseye yaşatmasın. Ben kendi adıma ve ailem adına en ağır şekilde cezalandırılmalarını istiyorum" dedi
