ÇEKI – Mijëra protestues kundër planit për ndryshimin e financimit të medias publike
Thousands of people gathered to protest in the Czech Republic. Media employees held a strike to oppose government plans regarding the funding of public broadcasters. The government wants to move away from a license fee paid by individuals. Instead, the plan proposes direct funding from the state budget. Protesters fear this change could grant the government more control over the media.
