A former minister will remain the first candidate on the PSOE ballot for Valladolid despite his request to step down. Since candidacies have already been proclaimed, the lists cannot be changed. If he is elected and declines the seat, the position will go to the next person on the list.
Las candidaturas ya han sido proclamadas y no pueden modificarse, por lo que el exministro seguirá apareciendo en las papeletas. Si resulta elegido y renuncia al escaño, su puesto pasará al siguiente candidato de la lista.
