Fifi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC, admitted the party made a mistake in how it handled sexual abuse allegations against the headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School. The party initially cleared the headmaster but later acknowledged this was a mishandling of the situation. Kwetey stated that the party should have waited for more evidence before taking a formal position on the matter.
