Boj se jmelím pokračuje. V Ostravě ošetří dalších více než šest stovek stromů
The city of Ostrava plans to treat another 644 trees that have been infected by the white parasitic mistletoe. The work will take place in the districts Moravská Ostrava, Přívoz, Hrabová and Ostrava‑Jih. The operations are scheduled to begin at the start of the vegetative rest period. This effort is part of a city‑wide ecological program aimed at eradicating mistletoe. The project began four years ago and is now in its fifth stage. Officials hope the treatment will protect the urban forest from further damage.
Ošetření dalších 644 stromů napadených cizopasným jmelím bílým bude v ostravských obvodech Moravská Ostrava a Přívoz, Hrabová a Ostrava-Jih pokračovat se začátkem období vegetačního klidu. Jde o pátou etapu celoměstského ekologického projektu likvidace jmelí, který začal před čtyřmi roky.
