A new international airport is being developed in Bukhara. The project includes a dedicated 5.5 km BRT lane leading to the facility. The president ordered that both the airport and the road be completed by the Independence Day celebrations in 2027. Plans are also in place to establish flights with countries including Malaysia, Kuwait, and Egypt.
