Representatives from thirty‑seven nations gathered at the European civil‑protection forum in Brussels. A young firefighter from Zagreb addressed the assembly. He highlighted strengths of Croatian fire services compared with those of other European countries. He also spoke about differences in training and equipment. He said he hopes the experiences he shared will benefit his own community.
