Google is investing 15 billion US dollars, or 61.1 billion Malaysian ringgit, in Malaysia. The investment aims to strengthen the country's digital infrastructure. It is expected to support more than 37,000 local jobs per year during the construction of a new data center campus. Prime Minister Anwar stated this will provide high-paying employment opportunities for citizens. The move opens more economic opportunities for high-skilled workers.
KUALA LUMPUR: Pelaburan Google sebanyak AS$15 bilion (RM61.1 bilion) di Malaysia bukan sekadar memperkukuh infrastruktur digital negara, malah dijangka menyokong lebih 37,000 peluang pekerjaan tempatan setahun sepanjang fasa pembinaan kampus pusat data baharu, sekali gus membuka ruang lebih luas kepada rakyat merebut peluang ekonomi berkemahiran tinggi.
