A resident of a Zagreb neighborhood described a nearby owl that has won over the local people. The person often sees the bird in trees or flying quietly over the area at night. Its distinct calls are frequently heard during the night and into the early morning. The resident suggested the owl sounds as if it is guarding the peace and silence of the streets.
"Najčešće ga viđam na drveću ili u tihom noćnom letu iznad kvarta. Njegovo karakteristično glasanje često se čuje tijekom noći, ponekad sve do ranih jutarnjih sati, kao da svojim glasom čuva mir i tišinu sopotskih ulica", napisao je Zagrepčanin u objavi.
