The meeting of the Parliamentary Commission for Human Rights and Public Information was marked by debate over violence used in recent protests. During the session, a phrase accusing someone of “returning the seat to the molotov warehouse” was cited, sparking a clash between the PS and PD parties. Commission chair Jorida Tabaku called for the discussion of violence against demonstrators before the 2027 budget draft is reviewed. Members of the majority demanded that the issue be taken forward. Tabaku subsequently left the commission meeting. The protests had drawn criticism for alleged use of force.
