Belarusian official Maxim Ryzhenkov said the Minsk conference is not politicized and that anyone there can express an opinion. He said participants see the problems that exist today and do not want to keep quiet about them, because the results could be dramatic for the region and for all humanity. Ryzhenkov referred to a speech by the Belarusian president the previous day and said this increases the value of their platform.
