Midterm elections produced a pronounced ‘blue wave’ that lifted stock markets across both sides of the Atlantic. Investors responded by pushing equities higher in Europe and North America. Within the Irish market, nutrition company Glanbia captured the largest share of gains, rising close to twelve percent. The move positioned Glanbia as the top performer on the ISEQ index.
