A member of parliament representing Tabriz, Azarshahr and Osku reacted to behavior attributed to Dabiri, Ali Daei and Adel Ferdowsipour concerning the national anthem. He said silence on that behavior is not acceptable. He recalled that 260,000 martyrs were sacrificed for the dignity and pride of Iran's flag. He demanded an end to what he called the government's appeasement of those who insult.
