A French criminal court in Blois was hearing the case against the parents of Ines Taloub, a child whose killing dates back to 1987. On Wednesday, the session was suspended after the mother suffered a health problem while autopsy photographs of her daughter’s body were being shown. The case began when a four-year-old girl was found murdered beside a highway, and her identity remained unknown for more than three decades. The trial comes after 39 years of mystery surrounding the case.
