The Association of Fund Administrators reported a sharp rise in people investing in local equity funds. Over the past twelve months the count of investors grew from about 148,000 to roughly 311,000, an increase of around 110 percent. The data compare figures from July 2025 with those from July 2026. The growth reflects a broader trend of increasing participation in the domestic stock market.
