The announcement was made during the ceremony held this year in Lima, Peru. The Spanish establishment secured the first slot of the list of fifty. Peru was also represented by three venues within the top fifty. The Peruvian restaurant Kjolle placed seventh, Mérito ranked thirteenth, and Mayta occupied the forty‑fifth place. The results highlight a strong showing from both Spain and Peru in the global competition.
