Clashes broke out in Pidie, Aceh, on November 4, 2026. The incident occurred when army personnel from Kodim 0102/Pidie and other officials attempted to remove Crescent and Star flags. These flags had been flown at Meunasah Desa Pulo Keunari in Tiro District during a celebration for the birth of Prophet Muhammad. One resident died during the confrontation. Thirteen other people were injured. The event took place during the enforcement process to lower the flags.
