A vote is scheduled today regarding a development plan for the Römerberg area in Linz. The plan seeks to protect historic villas while allowing for moderate urban densification. This proposal has faced significant criticism. The Federal Monuments Office announced it will examine the entire area. This review includes the historic Villa Raukamp.
