Özgür Özel, the leader of the Yeni Parti, visited the grave of former Prime Minister Bülent Ecevit. This visit took place to mark the 20th anniversary of Ecevit's death. Özel stated that he attended the site as the party's General Chairman. He was accompanied by party members and management staff during the visit.
