Joko Widodo, Indonesia's seventh president, known as Jokowi, met hundreds of his supporters on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The meeting took place at the East Jakarta District Court, in the middle of a hearing over fake diploma allegations. Roy Suryo is the defendant in that case, and proceedings were under way when Widodo stepped out to see the crowd. Shouts of his name rang out among the supporters as he greeted them.
