The Financial Services Authority noted that foreign investors recorded a net sell of 16.88 trillion rupiah in October 2026. This caused the IHSG to correct by 16.7 percent. The selling activity followed an MSCI announcement regarding the reclassification of the Indonesian capital market from an emerging market to a standalone market.
