Mikhail Degtyarev, Russia's sports minister and head of the Olympic Committee, commented on individual countries' positions on allowing Russian teams to take part in international tournaments. Speaking about a boycott by national teams of matches with Russia at the World Cup, he said opponents want to compete unfairly and become fakes. He added that this would not happen and that victory would be theirs.
