The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs stated that production costs at the farm level do not solely determine the market price of eggs. Any difference between production costs and retail selling prices must be evaluated comprehensively. This evaluation should consider the entire value chain of the industry. Changes at the farm level are only one part of the larger process.
