An autonomous system from OpenAI discovered 2,308 potential vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel. The system managed to reproduce 1,724 of these flaws and developed exploits for each one. In total, the model built 948 functional attacks to gain root control. Each successful attack cost approximately 1,279 dollars to produce.
