In Vitebsk, an event recalled the ideals of the October Revolution under the theme of unity, solidarity and justice. Olga Ivanova, chair of the Vitebsk city Council of Deputies, said an independent and sovereign Belarus is being built through the effective work of the Belarusian people. She added that the city is developing along with the country, with new microdistricts and socially important facilities being built and streets, parks and public spaces being improved.
