Instagram has launched a desktop version of its Edits application for Mac users. This release puts the tool in direct competition with CapCut. The software features a multi-track timeline and provides licensed music for creators. It also includes automatic captioning and allows for direct publishing to Instagram. The company has promised to provide updates for the application on a weekly basis.
