Clans of Al-Salayta and the wider Al-Ma'ay'a clans issued a statement on Thursday saying a terrorist crime would not weaken the resolve of Jordanians. The statement stressed that the blood of Jordanians unites them and that terrorism will not harm the country's unity. It described the act as a terrorist crime and said it would not succeed against national cohesion.
