Jack Valero has released a book titled El Opus Dei sin filtro to explain current membership in the movement. Valero serves as the founder of Voces Católicas and leads the communications office for the organization in the United Kingdom. The book arrives as the group awaits a decision from the Pope regarding proposed changes to its statutes. Valero states that there has been no response yet. He suggests the delay may be because the Pope is a canonist who wants to review the matter carefully. He denies claims that the reforms are intended to reduce the power of the organization.
