A reform proposal intended to increase the powers of municipal presidents in Hidalgo was rejected. This initiative was promoted in the local Congress by legislator Miguel Ángel Moreno Zamora. The proposal had previously been approved on October 6. Following this rejection, a state leader of the party is now considering an alternative plan.
