The New York Times reported that Iran and the United States had been reviewing mediators' proposals until this morning in an effort to resolve their disputes. The paper claimed that Iran's willingness to resume engagement on the nuclear issue shows Qatar-led diplomatic efforts to prevent a full-scale war between the US and Iran have been partly successful.
