A German brigade will test kamikaze drones during exercises in Lithuania close to the border with Belarus. Around 3,800 troops from eight NATO countries are set to gather in Lithuania for the Freedom Shield 26-II drills. Running in parallel, the Grand Eagle 26 exercises will involve the Bundeswehr's 37th Motorized Infantry Brigade Sachsen, part of the 10th Tank Division.
Около 3,8 тыс. военнослужащих из восьми стран НАТО соберутся в Литве для участия в учениях Freedom Shield 26-II. Параллельно с учениями Freedom Shield 26-II пройдут учения Grand Eagle 26 с участием 37-й мотопехотной бригады Sachsen 10-й танковой дивизии Бундвесвера.
